We’re parents of three girls who grew up loving an active, outdoorsy childhood. After moving to BC, we found ourselves facing a very different challenge: long rainy winters, smoky wildfire seasons, and fewer opportunities for our kids to move and play outside.

So we brought the adventure indoors. We designed and built a space in our own home where our daughters could climb, swing, jump, and play freely. Without screens.

What started as a solution for our family became something we wanted to share with other families. Wildmodo was born from that idea: turning everyday spaces into places where kids can move, explore, and be kids.

From BC Winters to Playful Architecture

Wildmodo began with a simple question: What if the spaces we already have could inspire kids to move more?

As engineers and parents, we set out to create play spaces that are not only fun, but thoughtfully designed, safe, durable, and beautiful enough to belong in the home.

We combine active play with playful architecture to transform ordinary spaces into places where kids can climb, swing, explore, and build confidence. Today, we bring that same approach to other families. Creating custom indoor play spaces designed around each home, each family, and the way they want to live.
